This session will begin on October 22nd. The days will be Sunday October 22nd, Sunday October 29th, Saturday November 4th, Sunday November 5th, Sunday November 12th, Saturday November 18th, Sunday November 19th and Saturday November 25th.
Ocean Volleyball Academy is open to players of all ages and skills. Whether you are new to volleyball or you want a lesser commitment than being on a club team, we have a program that will work for you. Practices will be at Saint Barbara Greek Church, 2200 Church Road, in Toms River on select Saturdays and Sundays. The fee for this program is $195.00 for all ages and will cover the cost of the program and an Ocean VBC shirt.

Ocvbc reserves the right to combine sessions, using separate courts, if necessary. Your day could change, before the session starts based on class size.
All clinics are taught by Coach Sydney and our other Ocvbc club coaches and players.
Exact times are listed below.
Ocean Volleyball Academy 1, 12pm:
This group is designed for players aged 12 or under. This program focuses on the four fundamental skills: Passing, Setting, Hitting and Serving. Players will learn a basic 6-person rotation and are introduced to the different positions on the court.
Ocean Volleyball Academy 2, 1pm:
This group is designed for players between the ages of 13-15. This program will build off of the basics of passing, setting, hitting and serving. If you are new to volleyball and fall into this age group, do not worry! This program will go over the fundamentals and each practice will consist of repetitions of the fundamentals. Players will be introduced to different volleyball system and rotations. Players will experience 6 v. 6 play and game-like situations.
Ocean Volleyball Academy 3, 2pm:
This group is designed for high school players aged 15+ with or without playing experience. Players will build off the basics and get a more in-depth description of each skill. Players will be taught different types of serves such as overhand, topspin, float and jump float serving. Players will learn the mechanics of hitting, including the approach and different hitting techniques. Offensive systems will be taught and players will finish the program with an understanding of a 6-2 rotation. This program will focus on 6 v. 6 playing and game-like situations.
